In this first section of the Fundamentals Seminar, Wolfgang Baumgartner Sensei presents Tae No Henko and Morote Dori Kokyuho in detail, emphasizing that creating a strong foundation with these techniques leads to grounded and powerful execution of all Aikido techniques.
In the second section of the Fundamentals Seminar, Wolfgang Baumgartner Sensei demonstrates the techniques Ikkyo through Rokyu, emphasizing the importance of the “1st Technique”, Ikkyo, as the basis for Nikyo, Sankyo, Yonkyo, Gokyu and Rokyu.
In the third section of the Fundamentals Seminar, Wolfgang Baumgartner Sensei breaks down the core techniques of Shihonage, Kotegaeshi, Iriminage, and illustrates the principle of destabilizing by bringing uke out of the center of balance.
